Hello Everyone,


Welcome to the Nature of the Learner Course  Outline. Throughout the semester each student will be required to post reflections on given assignments and to comment on the postings of other classmates. You will be assigned deadlines as to when these will be done; each posting will be worth up to 10 points and each comment 2 points.

    Good Day Everyone,

    My name is Vanesha Rhaburn. I am a student of the Faculty of Education pursing an associate degree in primary education. I am presently a full time student, full time clerical assistant and a full time mother. My desire is to become a positive influence in Belize's education system and also help children to learn new skills and explore information.

    Good afternoon everyone,

    Hi my name is Nazzerra Alarcon. I am presently perusing by Associate in Primary Education. When it comes to teaching experience I believe I can say that I have a little, due to the fact that I am a Sabbath School teacher at my church. To say that I have been in a classroom setting, I haven’t. I choose this career because I see myself as someone who can make a difference in people lives, to educate others and simply to contribute to society. I love being around children as well as working with them.

    I am Maureen Lewis, an upper division teacher for some years now, specifically Std. VI. Teaching is my passion and I enjoy every minute of it as it allows me to express my creative side. I enjoy sharing ideas with other teachers and assist when I can. Pursuing the CPED program will assist in gaining greater knowledge to share and I look forward to it.

    Hi, I am 19 year old Stacey Johnson. I am a full time student pursuing my Associate Degree in Primary Education. I am not a teacher as yet, but i assist teachers at St. Martins Primary School, as part of my community service hours pertaining to my scholarship.     Good Evening Everyone, I am Patricia Welch. I am currently attending The University of Belize in pursuit of an Associates Degree in Primary Education. I am a relatively new teacher. I teach kindergarten class at Hummingbird Elementary School. I am a firm believer in Education and feels that without it, one is setting him or her self up for future problems in many areas of life.     Hi everyone I'm Chyenne Pipersburgh,currently working as an assistant Home Economics teacher (njoy cooking). Doing my associates in Primary Education and plan to get a full time job in the classroom.
